David has been in the family business for 8 years and became principal of the firm in 2010. He has a B.A in Communications from UCLA and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill. David and his wife Kate have four children, Siena (8), Violet Wren (6), Sawyer (4) and Kirra (18 months)
Like his brother, David, and his father, Maurice, Joshua has insurance in his blood. He has been an agent at the agency since 2014 and has a deep and genuine care for the customers. On his off days, Joshua likes to ride his road bicycle, practice yoga and go on walks with his dog, Matzah, and his wife, Mara.
Maurice began his career with insurance since 1973 as a Sales Manager and moved into agency ownership in 1977. He has earned many top honors from Allstate in the Financial and Property and Casualty field.
James joined the Tofig Team in 2015 after over 10 years as a producer with another insurance company. He has a gentle and kind demeanor which the customers absolutely love---James cares about the people that he helps. When he is not at the office helping the customers, James likes to play basketball and watch his favorite sports teams, the Warriors, A's and especially the San Jose Sharks!
Michael has been with the Tofig Agency since 2014. He was so enthusiastic and personable as the manager of the coffee shop that David frequented that we offered him a position on the spot! In the years since Michael joined us, he become an invaluable member of our team (and our family). When he is not at the office assisting the customers, Michael enjoys hiking with his fiancé, Bri, and playing the drums.
