    Dr. Ruhi Patel is a Bay Area native who earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. With advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner therapy, laser and surgical dentistry, and implant placement, Dr. Patel has been practicing in the Bay Area since 2021. Passionate about ongoing learning, she stays current with the latest dental advances to provide excellent care. Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys content creation, modeling, dancing, teaching, mentoring, hiking, reading, shopping, and Pilates, often spending time with her Yorkie, Teddy.     A native of the Bay Area, Dr. Mark Stepovich received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in 1986. Bringing over 30 years of experience, he has completed extensive advanced clinical education through the Foundation for Advanced Clinical Education (F.A.C.E.). He is a Spear Faculty Club Member, a member of the American Equilibration Society (AES), the International Academy of Gnathology (IAG), and has actively mentored aspiring dentists. Dr. Stepovich’s expertise centers on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. When not practicing, he enjoys a variety of hobbies, including motocross, climbing, cycling, hunting, precision shooting, gardening, cooking, welding, reading, and exploring real estate. He values humor and hands-on creativity in both his work and personal life.

    Dr. Pelin Inan Kurugol was born and raised in Turkey, where she completed dental school at Gazi University and obtained a prosthodontic specialty from Medipol University. She furthered her education in the United States at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Practicing in the Bay Area since 2020, Dr. Pelin specializes in cosmetic dentistry, implants, clear aligners, lasers, and surgery. She will serve as the Academy of General Dentistry NorCal Component President for 2026, reflecting her dedication to advancing dental education. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pelin enjoys singing, tango dancing, skiing, camping, reading, and outdoor time with her young son and family.
